Pastor Nicholas Martin
Nicholas Martin serves as pastor of New Douglas Baptist Church in New Douglas, Illinois. He also serves as Head of School at Bethel Academy, a Classical Christian School, in Troy, Illinois.
Furthermore, he serves on the board, most recently as President, of Eden’s Glory, a ministry serving survivors of human trafficking and offering counseling services to minors with extensive trauma. In addition, he recently completed a gubernatorial appointed term as a member of the Illinois Children and Family Services Advisory Council.
He is a graduate of Missouri Baptist University (BA), Lindenwood University (MA), and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv), with additional studies in Church History at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. During his undergraduate studies, he spent his summers on the mission field working with indigenous pastors and missionaries in East Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia).
He is married to Brittany, and they live in Southern Illinois with their family.
